BIGSTAR.tv Launches Ft. Launderdale International Film Festival Short Film Contest

Today marks the launch of Fort Launderdale International Film Festival’s Short Film Competition at BIGSTAR.tv. The Contest will run until Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
Filmmakers must submit their films online via upload at BIGSTAR.tv’s landing page for the contest. The winning film will be announced 2 weeks after the contest closes, and will be screened at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival - which takes place from October 23 to November 8, 2009.
About FLIFF:
Now in its 24th year, The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) will reel out over 200 films from around the globe. Filmmakers and celebrities will attend many of the screenings and events over the 23 day fest, October 15 - November 15. Parties and gatherings at area “hot spots”, on board yachts, and on the beach will provide audiences an opportunity to hob knob with film talent and other movie buffs.
